May 15th saw the band perform at the Southampton Mayor Making Ceremony where our President, Derek Burke was made Mayor of Southampton for the second time in his political career. He becomes the 790th Mayor of Southampton and was keen for “his band” to play at the ceremony.
The band played a short concert before the ceremony and then played two fanfares for the Mayor and the Sheriff on their arrival on stage.
