1920📍 Southampton
The Band originated from the Boy Scouts and was first known in 1920 as the All Saints Scouts Band. This marked the beginning of what would eventually become the City of Southampton (Albion) Band.
This early chapter of the Band’s history is recorded by E.H.G. “Ernie” Allen, one of the founder members, in his 1953 booklet A Brief History of the Southampton Albion Silver Band.
