In 1922 the Band became known as The Southampton Albion and Scouts Band, with its headquarters at Albion Church, St. Marys Road, Southampton. The Band continued to develop from its beginnings as the All Saints Scouts Band.

Albion Church became an important home for the young Band. The connection with the church would continue even after the Band later severed its ties with the Scouts.
