Southampton Round Table Dinner

Another regular event for the band has become the Southampton Round Table No.4 annual dinner held at the Grand Harbour Hotel next to West Quay. The relaxed atmosphere provided by the diners is something that the band don’t get to experience too often and is a welcome change from more formal events. The later the evening goes on the more “relaxed” the guests seem to become. By the time the band reached its finale of the Dambuster’s March, You’ll Never Walk Alone, Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory and Rule Britannia the whole room had joined in with the band singing and waving their union flags with great gusto.
