The band have been busy with Christmas related jobs since the end of November. We first appeared at the German Xmas market in Southampton next to the Bargate on Sat 27th Nov.
We played again at the Xmas Market on Sun 3rd Dec. On Wed 6th Dec the band travelled down to Bournemouth to provide the music for a carol service for a Turkey and Tinsel event. They then had to dash back to Southampton in order to provide carols for a mason’s event at Totton.
The highlight of the week was the band’s Xmas concert performed at St. James Road Methodist Church, Shirley on Saturday 9th Dec. A good sized audience saw the band play a mainly Christmas themed programme which was greatly appreciated by the audience.
If that wasn’t enough the band did another Turkey and Tinsel carol service on Sunday in Bournemouth. It has been a busy couple of weeks but now we have a week off before playing carols at the Swaythling Neighbourhood Centre where the band rehearse each week. We will then play one final time at the German Xmas Market on Sat 23rd Dec.
