On the march in Hedge End

With the exception of the annual Remembrance Parade the band doesn’t do an awful lot of marching. However, the 5th July for Hedge End carnival was an exception. We marched the length of the route playing marches that reflected the theme of the day which was World War I.

Despite the threatening weather the crowds were out in force and in most places around the route they were 4 or 5 deep. The band had a good view of the steam engine that was immediately in front of them in the parade.
