Band receives grant from Co-op Community Fund

Recently the band received a £2,000 grant from the Co-op Community Fund to help purchase some pedal timpani for the band. The cost of buying new instruments is expensive and with lots of other running costs to be paid, donations like this one enable us to improve the equipment of the band. At a recent band practice representatives from the Co-op came along to personally present the cheque to our musical director Nick Dawson.
