The band were once again invited to play in Winchester Cathedral for the Master Mariner’s Thanksgiving Service on June 13th in the presence of HRH the Princess Royal. The band played before the service began and then accompanied the hymns along with the organ. After the service a reception was held out in the Visitor’s Centre. The band played a short set to entertain the guests and were delighted when Princess Anne came up to thank the band personally for the music.
